We are pleased to announce that travel awards of $700 are being offered through the
Lawrence G. Raisz Fund for Musculoskeletal Research and Education for attendance at the
2025 American Society for Bone and Mineral Research (ASBMR) Annual Meeting Sept. 4-8,
in Seattle, Washington.
Dr. Raisz was a founding member of ASBMR and its second president.
Eligibility is restricted (based on the fund’s originating rules) to junior faculty in the School
of Medicine, and students, fellows, residents, and research staff who are mentored by
faculty members having their primary appointments in the School of Medicine. Eligibility
is restricted to first and presenting authors of abstracts selected for oral or plenary poster
presentation.
Please note there is a limit of one application per principal investigator laboratory.
Deadline for applications is Aug. 5, 2025.
