Introducing the “UConn Health Community Recipes Collection”

Let’s focus on foods that bring us together! Holidays! Birthdays! Anniversaries! Graduations! Etc.…What delicious treat would you bring to the table! Let’s create our own sharable cookbook with our favorite recipes of foods, desserts, and treats! To make this venture even more incredible, add a photo of the dish and perhaps a story about the dish as well.

Help us create this fun community collection by submitting your original recipes – we promise not to tell Mom that you shared her secret ingredients! Each person is invited to add up to three recipes to the project with photos. Collected recipes and stories will be made available to our community!

We’ve created an online submission portal to make it easy for you to upload your recipes, photos, and food stories to the project. On the submission page, you’ll be able to review the guidelines and learn more about how to submit.

Since this is a cookbook, please make sure your recipe includes key information:

    • Name of the recipe/dish

    • List of all ingredients with quantity

    • Time to prepare

    • Preparation and cooking procedures

    • Equipment required for the dish

    • Serving procedures if applicable

We’re interested in appetizers, entrees, soups, salads, side dishes, desserts, drinks – you name it! Please don’t forget the photo of the prepared dish or a great family story that goes with it, we’d love to include that, too.

Recipe submissions will be accepted through March 31, 2025.
