Provided by the UConn School of Medicine and Office of Community and Continuing Medical Education
This Internet Point of Care activity is intended to give UConn Health physicians the opportunity to research a self-identified clinical question at the point of care and then to apply that knowledge into either their practice or the systems of care in which they work. As a clinical reference tool, this activity is designed to facilitate quality improvement through self-directed learning. UConn Health clinicians and faculty are invited to research a self-identified, specific, clinical question utilizing one of the resource database(s) offered through the UConn Health Sciences Library. Participants will then complete the on-line IPOC Verification/Evaluation Form, which includes documenting each source and citation consulted and describing the application of their findings to their practice, for each article researched.
