  • 3/1 Deadline to Order Commencement Regalia Tomorrow

    Dear Faculty Members,

    We are pleased to share that the 2024 Commencement Exercises for the UConn Schools of Medicine, Dental Medicine and the Graduate School are scheduled for Monday, May 6, at 1 p.m. at the Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts in Storrs. You are cordially invited to participate in the ceremony.

    If you wish to participate as a faculty member, please note the information related to ordering regalia for the ceremony. There are two options.

    Purchase new regalia ($150.00)

    1. You may purchase regalia which will be brand new, unworn and yours to keep for use now and in the future. The full package includes a doctoral robe, hood with your degree colored velvet and chevron in the colors of the institution from which your degree was obtained along with a cap and tassel.  To make the purchase on-line, please go to the UConn Health ordering site by using the link here: https://uconnhealthfaculty.shopoakhalli.com.

    Rentals ($106.00)

    1. If you opt for rental regalia you can place the order by using the link here:  https://uconnhealthfaculty.shopoakhalli.com

      There is an option to select Ship to the UConn Health Bookstore.

    You will need to return the rental regalia to the UConn Bookstore on the Storrs campus following the ceremony May 6. If you rent regalia, you may want to park in the South Garage as it is nearest to the UConn Bookstore and will make the return process easier. Returns of rented regalia cannot be accepted by the UConn Health Bookstore.

    The deadline to place the regalia orders using either option is Friday, March 1.

    Also important:

    If you plan to participate but do not need to order regalia please contact Lisa Francini (francini@uchc.edu ) to confirm your participation. This is necessary to reserve a seat for you on the stage.

    More specific details regarding the Commencement ceremony will follow in the coming months.
