Ash Wednesday is a holy day of prayer and fasting inaugurating the season of Lent.
Ash Wednesday derives its name from the placing of ashes on the foreheads of participants.
For anyone wanting to receive ashes for Ash Wednesday, they will be available in the Chapel from 9 to 11 a.m. and 2 to 3 p.m.
Ashes can also be requested by appointment with our chaplain: x3230, email: dwarriner@uchc.edu or through Voalte.
