Enrolling Participants: Recruiting Pediatric Primary Care Providers for a Study on Anxiety
Are you a pediatric primary care provider (PCP; including physicians, nurses, and physician assistants) and would like free training in how to help your patients’ anxiety?
We are recruiting PCPs to participate in a project sponsored by the National Institute of Mental Health that provides free training in a brief PCP-delivered intervention to reduce anxiety in youth.
Our funding allows us to compensate PCPs for completing the training and delivering the intervention!
The intervention, called Managing Anxiety in Pediatric Primary Care (MAPP), is based on evidence-based strategies to reduce youth anxiety. Participating PCPs will be enrolled in this study for approximately 2 years.
If you would like to discuss this opportunity, please reach out to us at MAPP@uchc.edu.
This study was approved by the UConn Health IRB, Protocol #23-111SO-2.
