UConn Health Study Investigates how Depression impacts aging biological processes and brain function.
Recruiting Men & Women ages 60 - 85 with Depression
Men and women 60 - 85 years old who are diagnosed with and experiencing symptoms of depression are needed for this study to investigate how depression negatively impacts the aging processes and brain function.
Participation involves:
- 6 visits to UConn Health
- Blood draw
- Interviews and evaluations
- Testing of thinking & memory
- One-time MRI brain scan
- No cost for participation
Payment to participants includes up to $100 at completion of the baseline assessments and $70 at completion of the follow-up assessments every 6 months for 2 years for a total of $380.
