Outpatient Pavilion (S) - 3rd Floor – S3281 X-Ray Room Fit Out
- Project Scope: Fit out empty room for installation of additional X-Ray unit.
- Schedule: Construction will begin August 2nd and is expected to be complete by mid-October.
- Impacts:
- Construction will mostly occur during normal business hours within enclosed construction areas. Certain activities will occur off hours due to their nature and will be coordinated in advance.
- Be aware of posted signage. Do not enter construction areas.
- Construction work may generate some intermittent noise and odors. Please contact Janice Hill at 860-480-6392 with any issues.
Main Building – B Area – Building Roof Exhauster Sound Attenuators
- Project Scope: Add sound attenuation to roof top exhaust units.
- Schedule: Installation of exhauster sound attenuators is tentatively scheduled late August pending delivery confirmation.
- Impacts:
- Installation of the sound attenuators are anticipated over a weekend in late August or early September.
- Parking Lot A2 will be impacted the Friday before the weekend work will occur in the area of the ARB entrance to allow the crane access to the setup for the weekend. The crane will be parked on Friday in the handicap parking area near the ARB entrance.
- Friday, (date to be determined), the crane will be staged in the handicap parking area and crane setup will begin.
- Saturday morning, (date to be determined), crane setup will be completed and lifting of the structural steel will take place. Saturday afternoon the crane will be disassembled and removed from Parking Lot A2.
- The south exit of B Building will closed to pedestrian traffic during crane lifting operations.
- Be aware of construction barricades and signage.

University Tower (T) – TM112 Office of patient Experience Renovation
- Project Scope: Demolition of millwork, construct two new offices, install two new modular furniture offices, patch floors, paint, modify HVAC distribution and electrical systems.
- Schedule: Construction is expected to be substantially complete by early October 2021.
- Impacts:
- There will be no access through the construction area. Be aware of posted signage. Do not enter construction areas.
- Construction has been scheduled during normal business hours and off hours depending on activities.
- Construction work may generate some intermittent noise and odors. Please contact Kevin Norton at 860-480-99851 to report any issues.
MSI Building (N) - 3rd Floor – N3101 & N3102 X-Ray Replacement
- Project Scope: Remove old X-Ray equipment from N3101 and N3102 and renovate for installation of new X-Ray equipment. Note that only one room will be done at a time, starting with N3101.
- Schedule: Construction will begin Friday night 7/9/21 and is expected to be complete by end of October.
- Impacts:
- Construction will mostly occur during off hours to avoid impacting patient care. Certain activities will occur during regular business hours due to their nature and will be coordinated in advance.
- Be aware of posted signage. Do not enter construction areas.
- Construction work may generate some intermittent noise and odors. Please contact Janice Hill at 860-480-6392 with any issues.
Garage 1 and 2 – Deck Sealant Replacement
- Project Scope:
- Garage 1 – Scope of work complete.
- Garage 2 – Expansion Joint on Level 4 patient parking is scheduled for replacement the week of September 18, 2021.
- The patient parking area, level 3 and ramp 3 will be closed for three days.
- Sealant replacement will occur near the ambulance entrance sliding doors on September 18, 2021. This will not impact entering and exiting.
- Schedule:
- Garage 1 – Scope of work complete.
- Garage 2 start date August 2, 2021 and completion the week of September 18, 2021.
- Impacts:
- Throughout the project traffic flow on the upper levels of the garage will be altered.
- Be aware of construction vehicles, barricades and signage.
- Staff and students must not park in the patient parking areas and are advised to be cautious.
- UConn Police will be monitoring the area.
- Traffic delays will occur. Please plan accordingly for extra travel time.
- Work may generate some intermittent noise and odors.

University Tower (T) - TSB102 Sub-Basement IT Room - Additional Power
- Project Scope: Provide additional power to data room TSB102. Install conduits and wiring above corridor ceiling to designated rooms
- Schedule: Work begins May 24th and will completed by August 24th.
- Impacts:
- Crews working above ceiling on ladders in sub-basement corridors. Be aware of posted signage. Do not enter construction areas.

Main Building – C Area – C2056/C2009 Lab Med Automated Track Replacement
- Project Scope: Minor room renovations for Transition Room C2009 followed by installation of temporary analyzer equipment. C2056 work consists of replacement of existing core lab automated analyzer track system with minor utility relocations. Work will be performed during normal and off hours.
- Schedule: Transition Room C2009 Completed, Core Lab C2056 to be completed end of October.
- Above ceiling corridor work.

Outpatient Pavilion (S) – Outpatient Building Security
- Project Scope: Installation of security devices, card readers, at points of egress to prevent entry during off-hours.
- Schedule: Final completion and testing by September 30, 2021.
- Impacts:
- Be aware of posted signage and do not enter construction areas.
- Construction scheduled during non-working hours. Majority of the scope will occur on Saturdays.
- Construction has been scheduled during normal business hours and off hours depending on activities.
- Install remaining security devices. Preliminary testing will take place during off-hours.
