Course Title: What Do I Need to Report and to Whom: Demystifying Adverse Event Reporting

Identifying, monitoring, and reporting of adverse events (AEs) is critical in protecting research participants and ensuring the quality of safety data. The types of events to be reported, to whom, in what timeframe and how can seem daunting or overwhelming to a research professional. This session will provide information and tips for reporting to regulatory groups including the Sponsor and the Institutional Review Board (IRB).
Learning Objective:
- Discuss how to report expedited events, including adverse events, to the IRB and IND/IDE sponsor.
- Discuss how to process an IND Safety Report.
Cost: Free Admission
Credit: SOCRA Members may claim 1 CE towards SOCRA Recertification.
SOCRA members will receive a certificate of attendance.
