The Department of Health Career Opportunity Programs is hosting its Annual Aetna Health Professions Partnership Initiative Bridge to the Future Science Mentoring Conference for college students to promote diversity in the health professions and to raise awareness about health and biomedical science careers.
Participants will also learn about the admissions process for medical, dental, and graduate schools.
The guest speaker will be Tamara Gravely Griffin, DMD, a dentist in a private group Endodontic practice. Dr. Gravely Griffin is a graduate of UConn’s School of Dental Medicine Class of 2000. Faculty, students and staff are cordially invited to attend this virtual event tomorrow, Saturday, April 17, from noon to 3:30 p.m.
This event is funded by the Aetna Health Professions Partnership Initiative and the John & Valerie Rowe Endowment Funds.
