    Managers: Please post this update in your respective areas.

    16 Munson Road 1st Floor – Breakroom & Collaboration Area

    • Project Scope: Convert former high-density filing space to new breakroom and collaboration area.
    • Schedule:  Construction has begun and is expected to be complete by the end of April.  
    • Impacts:
      • Construction scheduled during normal business hours and off hours.
      • Space remains closed.  Be aware of barriers and posted signage.  Do not enter construction areas.
      • Construction work may generate some intermittent noise.  Please contact Janice Hill at 860-480-6392 with any issues.

    Administrative Services Building (ASB) Rooftop – Pre-cast repair

    • Project Scope: This phase involves rooftop investigations of existing pre-cast construction to identify scope of future repairs.
    • Schedule: Work for this phase will occur April 29, 2020 through May 4, 2020, weather permitting.
    • Impacts:
      • Work is scheduled during normal business hours.
      • Be aware of roofers bringing materials and tools to roof via stairwell.  Be careful when using stairwells.
      • Work may generate intermittent noise and low odors.  Please contact Janice Hill at 860-480-6392 with any issues.

    MSI Building Exterior Wall Repair

    • Project Scope: Remove existing caulk and reseal joints with new caulk around exterior windows.
    • Schedule: Tentative start date week of April 20, 2020 and completion date of May 11, 2020.
    • Impacts:
      • Be aware of posted signage and do not enter construction areas.
      • Construction scheduled during normal business hours.
      • Construction work may generate some noise and low odors. Please contact Tim Cifone at 860-461-9386 to report any issues.

    CCM KB035 Renovation – Animal Holding Room Renovation

    • Project Scope: Convert former animal holding rooms into one larger room.
    • Schedule: Construction has begun and is expected to be complete by the end of May.
    • Impacts:
      • Construction scheduled during normal business hours and off hours.
      • Be aware of barriers and posted signage.  Do not enter construction areas.
      • A construction dumpster will be placed at the East Dock. Only 1 loading dock bay will be available during construction.
      • Construction work may generate some intermittent noise and odors.  Please contact Rich Allen at 860-480-2087 with any issues.
