Update and Review of Hereditary Breast Cancer

Target Audience: Primary care physicians and APRN’s, medical oncologists, gynecologists, gynecological oncologists, surgical oncologists, radiologists, radiation oncologists, oncology nurses, physician assistants and any other clinicians involved in the management and treatment of patients with cancer.
Learning Objectives: Participants will (be able to):
1. Discern differences in breast cancer risk for genes associated with hereditary breast cancer (e.g. BRCA1, BRCA2, PALB2, ATM and CHEK2).
2. Interpret current NCCN management guidelines for multigene panels for hereditary breast
3. Identify ongoing challenges in interpreting results from multigene panel testing.
