  • Are You Ready for the New Dragon Dictation System?

    HealthONE Dragon: Did You Know?

    • Dragon dictation is a major component toward efficiency in HealthONE
    • M-Modal usage will be markedly diminished after go live; allowing only OP and Progress notes to be transcribed and more importantly any notes dictated in M-Modal will be scanned into HealthONE but they will not be cataloged as a note in the record.
    • Classes are being held in the Outpatient Learning Center on the 3rd Floor, in Classroom 6025 in the Connecticut Tower and on the ground floor in the academic library classroom #3. See dates and times via Saba.
    • Dragon drop-in labs are now available in Connecticut Tower and in the Outpatient Pavilion (see schedule below).  These labs are designed to allow you to practice and to answer any of your dictation questions.
    • Registration assistance will be available daily at the UConn HealthOne log-in labs in the University Tower, mezzanine level.
    • For existing/knowledgeable Dragon users, an on-line Saba training module is now available; however, if you’d like a more hands-on approach, you can register for the instructor-led class.
