Want to get your game project in front of real game developers working on video games like Destiny 2? We want your game projects!
The DMD Game Design concentration is submitting student projects to regional game development competitions including the RPI Game Fest (May 5th), PAX East Mass DIGI event (April 5th), and the New England Game Design Showcase (April 18th).
DEADLINE: To be considered, submit your playable prototype or demo by Monday, March 18th at 11:59 PM to kenneth.thompson@uconn.edu with the title "Game Competition Submission: Your Game Name."
Feel free to keep working on the project after the submission date, but that is your cut off for being considered to go to a show. Anything playable is fine! If you only wish to submit to one event, for instance, the RPI Game Fest, make a note in your email.
Things you should also include in your email
-A Screenshot of your game
-Game name
-Names of all developers (and association with the University)
-Any purchased or open art assets included in your project
-A link to a build of your game
You must provide transportation to and from the event(s). All UConn students welcome.
