A milestone in the progress of the New UConn Recreation Center construction is about to be reached! The final beam of the steel construction will be set in place tomorrow. Today, February 26, students are invited to come sign the beam that will forever be part of the new building. The 20 foot beam can be signed anytime between 11AM and 2PM on Fairfield Way. Stop by and sign your name. The beam gets hoisted up into its final place tomorrow, February 27th at noon at the official "Topping Off" ceremony which is open to all.
