Community First School is working to open its doors in the North Hartford Promise Zone. They envision a school that inspires academic excellence, promotes greatness in each child, & partners with the community, but they need YOU to make it happen.
WHO: An intern with strong interpersonal & communication skills who is passionate about social justice, education, & working alongside community members.
WHAT: The job will include duties like meeting with community leaders, local advocacy, creating promotional materials, & collaborating with the school’s Board of Directors in preparation for public hearings.
WHEN: Begin at your earliest availability. End in May 2018.
WHERE: Office space located at the Wilson-Gray YMCA, Hartford, CT.
