Do you have experience working with the elderly population? Or do you have an interest to build meaningful connections with senior citizens? Generations Connect is a semester long service program that allows UConn students to volunteer with residents of Mansfield Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation as well as Mansfield Senior Center. Volunteers at MCNR participate in arts and crafts, holiday-themed parties and cognition-strengthening games planned by the recreational directors. We are currently looking for volunteers for Tuesdays. We leave campus at 2:00 and arrive back at 4:000. Participants are expected to attend weekly. Transportation is provided!
