Come tryout for the UConn Women's Club Softball Team! We are a competitive fastpitch softball team playing in the North Atlantic - North conference of the NCSA. We play our main season in the fall and travel within the region on some weekends; in the spring we may travel more. We will have a table at the involvement fair so be sure to stop by and sign up on our interest form.
The last day for tryouts is today Friday September 15th from 3:30-6:30pm at the Jungle Field behind North Dining Hall (near the tennis and basketball courts). Even if you cannot make all the times be sure to come to as much of tryouts as possible. Bring a glove, cleats, water, and anything else you might need. Bats and helmets will be provided if you do not have them.
Make sure you have already signed up for "Tryout Team Softball" on IM leagues and have an updated physical and clearance to play form turned in to Student Health Services. The forms take a day to process and if you have not completed these steps, you will not be able to try out.
