    Volunteers Wanted for a Research Study

    The Center for Career Development is looking to assess its Personalized Career Plan online resource. The Personalized Career Plan is an online tool that explains the benefits of developing a career plan to undergraduate students. It enables students to create a customized career plan by selecting their career goals and receiving personalized action steps.

     

    Participants are being recruited to provide feedback on the resource through a 1-hour focus group. This study is designed to receive feedback on the Personalized Career Plan resource. Our goal is to the clarity and content of the resource for UConn undergraduate students. All conversations will be kept anonymous and no names will be recorded or linked to the audio recordings.

     

    Who can participate?

    • Current UConn undergraduate students or May 2017 graduates over 18 years of age
    • Must not have previously completed the Personalized Career Plan
    • Must be available for a 1-hour on campus discussion

     

    What is involved?

    • Participants will be asked to complete the Personalized Career Plan independently the week before the focus group (10-15 minutes)
    • Participants will join a facilitated conversation (audio recorded) to share their feedback on the clarity and content of the resource (1 hour)
