Unified Theater is an organization which facilitates the inclusion of students with and without disabilities in the performing arts.
UT at UConn is kicking off it's second year collaborating with STAAR program for students with disabilites to write, direct, produce and perform an original show.
No theater experience is necessary. All are welcome!
We're seeking enthusiastic members and student leaders interested in any/all aspects of theater and inclusion! Those interested in performing, writing, composing or behind the scenes work are all encouraged to join. Rehearsals/meetings take place Monday 1:15 PM- 2:15 PM and Tuesdays 11:00 AM -12:00 PM at Sprague Hall. Members may attend one or both rehearsals each week.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with people of all abilities, gain leadership experience, and make new friends in a diverse inclusive setting.
