"Deciphering Love, Sex, Relationships, and Sexuality" is a two-night event hosted by SUBOG's Lecture Committee. The intention of this event is to empower, educate, and get participants to step outside of their comfort zone.
On Monday September 12th, Edidiong “Diddi” Emah will lead a choreography based workshop in the Student Union Ballroom at 7 pm. "Diddi" has worked with artists like Fifth Harmony, Ciara, Usher, Tinashe, Jennifer Lopez, Nicole Scherzinger, just to name a few. She has also choreographed and danced for various award shows. The choreography will consist of a 90-minute heels dance routine.
On Tuesday September 13th, Michelle Hope will be the guest lecturer speaking on love, sex, relationships, sexuality, orgasms, consent, reproductive rights, etc. in the Student Union Theatre at 7 pm. Over the course of her career, Michelle has trained and facilitated national programs for Harlem Children's Zone, Community Health Network, NYCDOH, Phoenix House, LAPD, Pacific Oaks College, among many others. Michelle has also appeared on NewOne Now with Roland Martin, CentricTV, Revolt TV, Power105s The Breakfast Club, Dr. Brenda Wade's Modern Love, Lip Service, Brilliant Idiots, and many others.
