  • 9/21 Plan on Attending the Free Tasty Waste Luncheon

     

    Plan on attending the Tasty Waste Luncheon on Wednesday, September 21st on Fairfield Way from 11:00am - 1:30pm. This is a FREE event, there will be NO CHARGE for this meal. (Rain date: Friday, September 23rd) The menu will be:

     

    Apple Pear Cucumber Aqua Fresca

    A blend of cucumber puree, sweet apples, and pear with a touch of mint blended with sparkling soda water-“Very Refreshing”

    Provencal Vegetable Soup

    A hearty vegetable soup loaded with onions, celery, carrots, green beans, and potatoes-garnished with a dollop of garlic parsley pistou…..”delicious”!!!!

    Brunswick Stew

    A traditional dish from the American South-a sweet and smoky tomato based stew with beans, assorted vegetables and a variety of meats such as beef, lamb, pork, turkey and chicken-“a stew bursting with bold flavors”

    Southwestern Beef Chili

    Ground Beef combined with onions, bell peppers, tomatoes,  jalapenos and corn, simmered for hours in a blend  of southwest seasonings-“Great with a piece of cornbread!!!!

    Cornbread

    A buttery moist bread with sweet corn kernels and ground corn-“absolutely amazing”!!!

    Blueberry Bread Pudding

    Plump blueberries and chunks of bread baked into a sweet vanilla custard-“a fine dining dessert”

    Ice Cream

    Check out the variety of ice creams offered at our ice cream tent-“goes great with the warm blueberry bread pudding”.
