Join She's the First UConn in the Student Union ballroom from 4-8 PM on Wednesday, March 2nd as we host local crafters/artists/vendors!! There will be a great spread of all sorts of handmade crafts and other goods made by UConn students and community members. There will be stone jewelry, knit and crocheted items, potted plants, computer decals, art prints, homemade bath products, and more! Come support local artistry and advocate for girls' education all at the same time!
Admission is FREE, donations gladly accepted.
***She's the First is a non-profit organization that raises money for scholarships to send girls in low-income countries to school. With this scholarship, a girl will become the first in her family to graduate secondary school. This year, STF UConn is partnering with Peru's Sacred Valley Project.
