  • 3/14 UConn IDEA Grant Program - Upcoming Deadline

    The UConn IDEA Grant Program awards funding to support self-designed projects including creative endeavors, research projects, community service initiatives, entrepreneurial ventures, and other innovative projects.

    UConn undergraduate students in all majors at all campuses can apply for an IDEA Grant of up to $4,000 per student to fund their work. Applications are accepted from individuals and from small groups of students who plan to work collaboratively on a project.

    The deadline to apply for academic year funding (2016-17) is Monday, March 14, 2016.

    Eligibility: To be eligible to apply, students must be a UConn undergraduate in good academic standing, plan to graduate no earlier than May 2017, commit to a minimum of 140 hours of project work; and agree to participate in a non-credit online project development course prior to starting project work.
