Student Organization Events & Information

  • 2/22 STEM Scouts Volunteer Info Session

A representative from STEM Scouts will be coming to UConn on Monday February 22nd at 7PM in TLS Room 79.

She will be discussing the opportunity for UConn students to become volunteers for the STEM Scouts Programs.

STEM Scouts is an after-school program for boys and girls in grades 3-12. Through weekly hands-on activities and experiments, STEM Scouts learn to explore the world around them in fun and creative new ways. They need volunteers to help start and run labs, organize field trips, train leaders, recruit STEM Scouts and more.

Whether volunteering directly with STEM Scouts or helping out behind the scenes, you can make an impact on the lives of STEM Scouts by volunteering your time. No prior experience is necessary, and they will train you.
