Consider being an editor for The Mirror for the Spring 2027 edition!
The Mirror is UConn Sociology’s undergraduate student journal. It features research, academic papers, creative writing, art, and more. The editorial team works from the end of winter break through the spring semester to create the volume. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, 1-2 one-hour meetings per week, theme formation, reviewing and editing student submissions, and journal formatting. The Mirror is reviewed and edited through an Intersectional lens. As such, we are looking for editors who are familiar with Intersectionality or are willing to learn!
Additionally, editors are eligible to receive 3 independent study credits (SOCI 3999) with Prof. Phoebe Godfrey in the Spring 2027 semester!
