What is Queer Science? Queer Science is a one-day conference for high schoolers that introduces students to a variety of STEM disciplines (including engineering, pathobiology, neuroscience, and more!) through hands-on demonstrations and tours! The event is hosted through the College of Engineering's Vergnano Institute for Impact and is free to attend. The event is open to all LGBTQ+ students and allies.
Where is Queer Science? Queer Science is hosted on the UConn Storrs campus. The event is free to all attendees.
When is Queer Science? This year, the event will be held on Saturday, October 17 from approximately 10am to 3pm. Breakfast and lunch will be provided free of charge.
