UConn Hillel will be bringing together a diverse group of UConn student leaders for a unique and once in a lifetime experience. 20 UConn student leaders will embark on a 10 day trip to Israel and Palestinian territories where we will explore and hear from a variety of speakers on various topics in Israeli and Palestinian society, including: history, culture, human rights, and political issues. We will travel around the country and visit Christian, Muslim, and Jewish holy sites in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Jaffa and more

This is a very exclusive opportunity to explore and get familiar with one of the most complex regions in the world today. This trip is open to all UConn undergraduates (excluding current seniors) and is highly subsidized opportunity that includes airfare, accommodations, select meals, and all activities and transportation.
Please note - there are LIMITED spots available - we will be unable to accept all applicants. Participants will be chosen through this application process, as well as an interview process.
Upon acceptance, you will be required to submit a non-refundable deposit of $250 - This is to secure your spot, which covers all trip expenses except for a few meals.
We expect every student to complete the following:
1) Attend every pre-trip orientation, programming and the entirety of the trip
2) Complete the post trip survey
3) Participate in the creation and/or attendance of at least one post trip educational event.
