Volunteer at Spring Valley Student Farm with Community Service Days on September 18th [4:00PM - 6:00PM]!
Join us for Farm Fridays! Are you passionate about sustainability? Come and engage with our regenerative growing techniques and net-zero energy initiatives! Do you love good food? Come and help us grow healthy fresh vegetables for the UConn community! Would you like to meet some other students with similar interests and diverse experiences? Join our vibrant group of volunteers for the afternoon! No prior experience needed--Student farmers will teach you everything you need to know about preparing soils, planting seeds, identifying weeds, and caring for our gardens.
Transportation is provided by UConn Community Outreach!
