The Mansfield Downtown Partnership invites you to volunteer at our 23rd Annual Celebrate Mansfield Festival on Saturday, September 26 in Downtown Storrs. Sign up today at downtownstorrsfestival.org/volunteers
We have opportunities for individuals or groups to help out for shifts throughout the day. Volunteers will help with setting up, booth breakdown, and clean-up as well as various tasks during the Festival's open hours.
Volunteers will receive a Festival t-shirt, and the Partnership can provide documentation of service upon request.
Most of our volunteer activities involve a lot of walking and carrying items (e.g. tables, chairs, signs). If you are unable to complete those activities but are still interested in volunteering, please contact the Mansfield Downtown Partnership (email mdp@mansfieldct.org or call 860.429.2740). We would be happy to discuss others ways in which you may be able to participate.
The Celebrate Mansfield Festival takes place from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, while volunteer activities begin at approx. 11:30 AM and continue until approx. 9:30 PM.
Featuring activity booths with hands-on fun for all ages, a juried craft show, food booths, and live performances of music, puppetry, and dance, the Celebrate Mansfield Festival is a beloved community tradition! Mansfield residents, UConn community members, and visitors from across Connecticut and beyond come together to enjoy the people and businesses that make Mansfield a special place to live, work, learn, and grow.
