Interested in learning about healthcare access and going on an alternative break? If so, this opportunity is perfect for you!
This opportunity is a service-learning trip to Philadelphia during Spring Break, where participants will spend a week volunteering at different sites that provide healthcare/healthcare access. Note, this is a not a clinical experience. We will be sorting medical equipment, food supplies, and working with individuals who rely on powered wheel chairs in planning events. This is just to name a few opportunities. Along the way, participants will learn about health structures and develop skills that allow them to be more engaged in their careers and communities.
