Build with Purpose: 2027 Alt. Break!
Are you looking for a way to combine meaningful service with a unique travel experience? The UConn Habitat for Humanity Alternative Break is an exciting week-long service trip that takes place during Spring Break 2027 as part of the national Habitat Collegiate Challenge. During the Alternative Break, groups travel to affiliates across the U.S. for the week to engage in an exciting, fulfilling, immersive experience volunteering to build and renovate houses for communities in need, no experience necessary!
This program is open to students of all backgrounds who are passionate about service, teamwork, and making a difference.
