Played trombone in high school and miss it? The UConn Jazz Lab Band has openings and wants to hear from you.
We meet Tuesdays and Thursdays, 2:00–3:45 PM, and play the real stuff — swinging big band charts, funk, Latin, the works. Depending on interest, a short audition may be part of the process, but don't let that hold you back from reaching out.
Bonus: it counts for Common Curriculum TOI-1 credit, so you can knock out a requirement while playing music you actually like.
