Interested in inspiring a love of science amongst young learners? Volunteer with the UConn-Willimantic Young Scientist Program!
The UConn-Willimantic Young Scientist Program is an IDEA Grant-funded program dedicated to inspiring a love and confidence in STEM among historically underserved elementary school students. We are looking for diverse UConn STEM students to volunteer to present hands-on science experiments to third graders at Natchaug Elementary School. We will present 9 times over the upcoming academic year (about once a month). It is not necessary to volunteer for all 9 events.
If you are interested in volunteering, please reach out to lucy.homer@uconn.edu.
