Summer Concerts on the Square
Head to Downtown Storrs for free, live music this summer! The Mansfield Downtown Partnership hosts concerts every Thursday in June, July, and August from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM on Betsy Paterson Square.
The 2026 Summer Concerts on the Square features independent artists from across Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island performing a wide variety of genres, including jazz, rock, pop, East African folk, and funk.

- Thursday, July 9: Austin James + The Nomads
- Thursday, July 16: Jake Kulak and The Modern Vandals

- Thursday, July 30: Hawk in the Nest
- Thursday, August 6: Residual Groove
- Thursday, August 13: Similar Kind

The Summer Concerts on the Square are free and open to everyone. Limited seating is available on the Square. You are welcome to bring your own lawn chair or blanket.
Make a night of it - enjoy dinner at one of the nearly 30 restaurants in Downtown Storrs before the performance, or bring your take-out to the Square! (Please note: alcohol is not permitted on the Square).
