Join friends from the UConn HELLO Lab, UConn Avery Point, and Connecticut National Estuarine Research Reserve for an inclusive Storytime near the water on 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟏𝟖𝐭𝐡! We'll be reading the book 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘘𝘶𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘊𝘰𝘤𝘬𝘭𝘦 𝘐𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘵 written by nine-year-old Maya, who is profoundly deaf, and illustrated by Lucy Rogers! There will be ocean-themed crafts and fun activities for children of all ages! This free and public event welcomes all families, especially those with children who are D/deaf or hard of hearing.
