Sigma Theta Alpha (STA) is a co-ed pre-health fraternity at UConn open to students interested in all areas of healthcare, including clinical, mental health, public health, and beyond, such as medicine, nursing, PA, therapy, research, and more. We focus on building a supportive community while helping members grow through service, professional development, and meaningful connections.
We welcome students from all majors, years, and schools at UConn who are interested in healthcare, across a wide range of fields and experiences.

We will be hosting an information session in Fall 2026 to walk through what a professional fraternity is, along with the rushing and pledging process. This session is designed to ensure that everyone feels informed and comfortable, especially those who are new to this process or are first-generation students.
