On Wednesday, April 29th, the Office of the Bursar assigned the Update Social Security Number Request Task.
If a student is assigned this task, they should log into the Student Administration System to complete it. Instructions for completing the task can be found on our Knowledge Base.
This task is issued each semester to all students who do not have a valid SSN or ITIN in the Student Administration System. Foreign nationals who are not eligible for an SSN or an ITIN may indicate this when completing the task.
A TAX hold has been placed on applicable student accounts as part of this process. This TAX hold will be removed within 24 hours of completion if a valid SSN or ITIN is provided.
Please note: This hold does not block a student’s ability to register or receive a transcript.
