Fun Fact: Did you know trees never die of old age? This fact just proves how amazing trees are, and if you didn’t know, we are very lucky to have them! Trees also help reduce noise by blocking sound waves, improve water quality through filtration, and they can help reduce stress.

Reason to Smile: Since January 1, 2026, France has banned consumer products with levels of PFAS above a threshold that allows little room for error. PFAS are known as forever chemicals because they never break down in nature. They can have very harmful effects, such as hormone disruption, increased risk for cancer, and reproductive impairment, and have been found to be in 97% of the American population’s blood. Makeup, textiles, non-stick cookware, shoes, and waterproofing products are just a few of the many items we use on a day-to-day basis that contain PFAS. France has set a new precedent, and hopefully, more countries will follow their lead! Read more here!

Joke of the Week: Why was the wind turbine such a great listener? It was always blown away!
