Already have a summer job or internship lined up? Get course credit for it.
The Department of Sociology's internship program lets you turn your summer work experience into a sociology course worth 2–7 credits. Whether you're working at a business, interning at a nonprofit, or volunteering with a government agency, you can earn credit while doing something that actually matters to you.
The class is online and asynchronous, so it works around your schedule. You can complete your hours at any point during the summer. The program is open to all undergraduates, regardless of major.
There's no formal deadline, but the sooner you reach out, the more time you'll have to get set up.
