The UConn Ovarian Cancer Awareness Organization and the Opportunity Fund Project is hosting an informative panel on April 10th from 3:30–4:30 PM in BUSN 321 focused on ovarian cancer awareness, including what ovarian cancer is and how it impacts individuals and families.
Our speakers include:
- Dr. Adaira I. Landry, Emergency Medicine physician at Harvard Medical School
- Jennifer Hedges, Event Planning Coordinator for the UConn Student Union, who will share a personal perspective through her family’s experience with ovarian cancer
This event would be especially valuable for students interested in pre-med, healthcare, public health, advocacy, or community engagement, and we would really appreciate it if you could share this opportunity with your members. It’s also a great chance to connect with peers and hear from experienced professionals. Pizza from Domino’s will be provided.
