UConn Rescue will be hosting a free continuing medical education session titled Life Threatening Sports Injuries on April 16 from 6:30 to 7:30 PM in Koons Hall Room 105. The session will be led by Joseph A. Wascholl III, BSN, RN, CCRN, AEMT, EMS-I, and will provide students with the opportunity to earn 1.0 NREMT CME credit.
This event is open to all students interested in emergency medical services, athletics, or healthcare, and will focus on recognizing and responding to critical injuries in sports settings. Attendees will gain practical knowledge that can be applied in both clinical and real world scenarios.
