Come stop by and volunteer tomorrow from 2-4 pm to assemble bags with pads and educational information to assist the Harford Health Education Program (HHE). HHE provides health education and menstrual products to students in Greater Hartford to address disparities in access to health information and reproductive care. Having pads accessible at school is important so students can focus on learning, not anxiety around menstruation.
The Department of Public Health Sciences is hosting two Menstrual Equity Packing Events: one tomorrow, from 2-4 pm, and a second on Tuesday, April 21st, from 2-4 pm. We are located at Suite 2100 (1st floor), 195 Farmington Avenue, Farmington, CT. Click here for the event flyer.
