Think You Can Handle the Pressure?
UConn Rescue, the university's student-run EMS organization, is hosting its first team competition of the semester and all students are invited to compete.
On Thursday, March 26th from 6:30 to 7:30 PM in Koons 105, participants will form teams of 2–4 and rotate through four scored stations: a mystery challenge (details classified), a trauma assessment, a medical assessment, and an EMS trivia round covering airway, medical, and trauma topics. Teams will be judged head-to-head, and each member of the winning team will receive a $10 Dunkin' gift card.
No prior EMS experience is required to participate- the event is open to all UConn students. However, having at least one EMR or EMT on your team is strongly encouraged, but anyone is welcome to show up, form a team, and give it a shot.
