Come join TEDxUConn to promote “ideas worth spreading” at our Spring 2026 conference, "Onwards & Upwards." This event will take place on March 29th, 2026 from 11:30am-3:30pm in the Student Union Theater.
In a world that can often feel boxed-in by received ways of doing, talking, or even thinking about things, “Onwards and Upwards” encourages us to broaden our perspectives, specify our focus, and elevate the way we interact with our world and its boxes. By taking what is known or what is expected and looking beyond it, shedding light on next steps or on what might be unseen in our current reality, we can move not only ourselves and our fields forward, but all those who interact with them. Through this conference, we seek to further that progress, generating discussion and sharing that which can slingshot us forward into a better, brighter, and more inclusive future, both within the UConn community and beyond it. By moving “Onwards and Upwards”, we hope to highlight recent advances, places in need of advances, and hoped-for advances in fields from the sciences to the arts and humanities to business to personal growth and beyond.

This is a privately organized event licensed by TED to host TED conferences at UConn and allow students and faculty to share innovative ideas on campus.
