  • 3/26 Undergraduate Science Journal Professor Panel

Interested in research at UConn but not sure how to get started? This panel is a chance to hear directly from professors about their own paths into research and what undergraduate research actually looks like.

USJ will be hosting six professors from different disciplines, who will share their experiences, talk about how they got involved in research, and offer advice for students who are curious but unsure where to begin. The discussion will be guided by questions from USJ, followed by an open Q&A where students can ask anything—about finding a lab, reaching out to professors, or what research is like day to day. Food will be provided!

The Undergraduate Science Journal Professor Panel will take place on March 26th from 6:00–7:30 PM in Gant West 002. This event is open to all undergraduates and is meant to be welcoming and approachable. No prior research experience is needed, and students at any stage are encouraged to attend. We hope to see you there!
