UConn Journalism Alumni Series: Shoot for the Stars with Jackie Wattles, a writer for CNN Space & Science!
A 2014 UConn Journalism grad with honors, Jackie, covers all things related to outer space and humanity’s renewed push to explore deep space.
Wattles double majored in Journalism and Political Science with a minor in environmental economics and policy. She was a varsity volleyball player who earned scholar-athlete and leadership awards.
At CNN, she specializes in the spaceflight industry as the world of rockets, satellites and space travel is becoming increasingly privatized.
