Series of Antisemitism and Islamophobia Awareness Workshops:

In light of the rising incidents of discrimination and prejudice, college campuses must take a proactive stance in fostering an inclusive and respectful environment.

    Objective:

    • The primary objective of the proposed program is to help students, faculty, and staff gain a better understanding of the history and harmful effects of Antisemitism and Islamophobia.
    • The second is to promote dialogue and create a culture that celebrates equity, inclusion, and builds greater understanding on campus.
    • Finally, the third objective is to assist UConn students, staff, and faculty in creating a safe and inclusive environment that promotes allyship and healthy conflict resolution.
