Dear Students,
In the fall of 2024, the Geography Department and the Urban and Community Studies Program merged to create the Department of Geography, Sustainability, Community and Urban Studies (GSCU).
Effective Academic Year 26/27, including Summer 2026, all URBN and GEOG courses will now be listed under the new GSCU Subject Area. Please note, many course numbers have been renumbered.
For example:
· URBN 2000, Introduction to Urban and Community Studies is now GSCU 2101
· GEOG 2000, Globalization is now GSCU 2700
When searching for Fall 2026 courses that were previously listed as URBN or GEOG in Student Admin please choose Geog, Sust, Comm, Urban Studies in the dropdown menu.
