You will start your experience by building the necessary foundation. You will live with home stays. You will learn Spanish. You will study and will be asked to think critically about aid strategies and social entrepreneurship models. And you will learn and apply the technical skills and tools you will need for your time working with our team in communities.
With your knowledge, experience, skills and ongoing support of the globally recognized Social Entrepreneur Corps leadership you will work to empower marginalized individuals, families and communities in Guatemala.
Over the course of this eight-week internship experience you will travel to different field sites including Nebaj, Huehuetenango, Xela, Sololá, and will engage with local communities, entrepreneurs, small businesses and will make an impact with proven social innovations as you empower others to build a better future for themselves.
